Cryogenic test chambers

Chamber 1:

• 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.5m working volume
• Two optical benches: 1.5m x 1.5m (working temperature 80K) and 0.3m x 0.3m (working temperature 30K)
• Liquid nitrogen pre-cool

Chamber 2:

• 0.5m x 0.5m x 0.3m working volume
• Working temperature 30K
• Liquid nitrogen pre-cool
• Located inside Class 100 cleanroom
• Suitable for the cryogenic characterisation of space instrumentation

Chamber 3:

• 0.5m diameter x 0.5m tall working volume
• Working temperature 30K

Clean room

• Class 100 clean room divided into two separate areas: 5.4m x 4.8m and 3m x 2.4m
• Separate cleaning area with pass-though hatch, washing facilities and ultrasonic bath
• Separate entrance lobby with lockers and step-over bench
• Optical table and cryogenic test chamber
• Temperature and humidity control
