To create a lively and interdisciplinary research environment, the CSDLP will organise seminars every second Wednesday of each month during term time, at 4pm-5pm, in person. Alternating between staff members and students, research seminars are a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to present a research paper, an early draft, an article, and have some feedback from their peers!
The organisation of the seminars will be as follow: A discussant will present a research paper, an early draft, an article, or any other work. A seminar leader will read in depth and provide feedback/ask a few questions, followed by a general discussion about the topic. Presentations are around 10 minutes for the presenter 5 minutes for the discussant. The aim is to learn from and engage with the research of colleagues in an informal and collaborative way!
