A warm welcome to Angela Marques Filipe and Samantha Halliday.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new IMH Co-Directors: Angela Marques Filipe (Assistant Professor of Health & Social Theory in Sociology) and Samantha Halliday (Associate Professor of Biolaw in the Law School).
Angela and Sam will join long-standing co-directors Corinne Saunders (English Studies) and Sarah Atkinson (Geography) as key members of the IMH Executive.
Over the next six months the IMH Executive will be working to reshape the structures of activity and affiliation that can best sustain a vibrant medical humanities research community at Durham, recognising that community as one which includes individuals at all career stages and from a wide array of disciplines and backgrounds.
