We are happy to announce that Dr Marta Cenedese has been awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, and will be joining IMH from April 2024-26.

During her Fellowship at IMH, Marta will be pursuing her research on narrative of illness, death and bereavement as a member of the Narrative Practices Lab. It was a delight to welcome Marta to Durham in May for a visit, and we very much forward to working with her over the next two years.

About Marta:

With an impressive background in comparative literature and medical humanities, Marta Cenedese is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Comparative Literature at the University of Turku and associate researcher at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin. her research focuses on narrative and memory in twentieth- and twenty-first century postcolonial literatures and cultures from an intersectional feminist approach.
