The Institute for Medical Humanities PG/ECR network is having a welcome 'meet and greet event' on Thursday October 20th at 5:00pm. Join us at Whitechurch to meet some other postgrads and early career researchers, have a cosy drink, and maybe find out a little bit about medical humanities!
PG/ECR Network
Who is invited? Any PG/ECR who is interested in topics related to health, medicine, wellbeing, the body, the mind, or any combinations or iterations of those things!
What if my research/interests aren't related to any of those things? They are, you just don't know it yet. Come along.
Ok fine, I'll come along - how will I find you at Whitechurch? We'll put up a sign identifying ourselves and keep an eye out for folks.
Wait, what is 'medical humanities'? It's a broad, interdisciplinary field that looks at areas such as health, medicine, the environment, and the body. It draws on disciplines including literary studies, psychology, philosophy, and sociology, among others. You can learn more about the research taking place at the IMH here.
