Salary Range: £37,999-39,105

Start Date: 01 September 2025

Working Arrangements: 35 hours per week, 4-year fixed term

This role is one of three that the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies is seeking to fill in association with the School of Modern Languages and Cultures and the Department of History. The successful candidate will undertake independent research related to one of three projects in our Inventing Futures programme of research, and offer teaching in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures.

We welcome applications from those with research interests in early modern Italian studies, or a related early modern field; with expertise in interdisciplinary methods; and with excellent interpersonal skills of a kind that equips them to work successfully in a collaborative research project and departmental environment.
