Dr Mark Sandy

Mark SandyMark Sandy specialises in Romantic poetics and its legacies. He has published studies of Poetics of Self and Form in Keats and Shelley (2005) and Romanticism, Memory, and Mourning (forthcoming, 2013). He has edited collections on Romantic Echoes in the Victorian Era (2008), Romantic Presences in the Twentieth Century (2012), and Venice and the Cultural Imagination (2012).

He is currently editing a volume on Decadent Romanticism and researching a book on Transforming Romanticism: The Legacies of Romantic Poetics in Twentieth-Century American Literature.

In the future, he plans to write a study of Romantic Spectral Presences: Ghostly Forms and Romantic Poetry.
