Staff profile

Jiaming Zhang began his PhD program at Durham University Law School in 2023. He received his LLB from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL) in Chongqing. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), specializing in Corporate, Commercial, and Taxation Law.

He is pursuing a PhD focusing on the independent director regime. His current research covers Company Law, Corporate Governance, Comparative Law, Securities Regulation, and Financial Law. He is also a practising lawyer in China and holds a qualification certificate in Chinese securities.
