Jiaming Zhang commenced his PhD program at Durham University Law School in 2023, focusing on the comparative study of corporate and securities laws across the US, UK, and China. He earned an LLB from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL) in Chongqing, China, and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, specializing in Corporate, Commercial, and Taxation Law. His current research encompasses corporate law, corporate governance, comparative law, securities regulation, and financial law. Beyond his academic pursuits, Jiaming is a practising lawyer in China and holds a China securities practitioner qualification.
