Biography
Katie Daniels has worked at Durham University since 2009. Her first role was working with the Centre for Research into Earth Energy Systems, followed by roles supporting the Multidisciplinary CDT in Energy, the Institute of Advanced Studies 'Biofuels, Science and Society' programme, the 'Muon Tomography for Carbon Capture and Storage Monitoring' project, and the 'ReFINE: Researching Fracking in Europe' project. Between 2014-2021, Katie worked for the University's Research and Innovation Services as a Research Grants and Contracts Manager.
Katie has joined DEI as the Business Engagement and Innovation Manager. Her role will involve supporting academics to develop industry partnerships, collaborations and impact, leading and delivering DEI business and industry stakeholder engagement, and contributing to the development of UK and international partnerships and networks.
