Manager - Durham Energy Institute

Lynn has worked at Durham University for almost 21 years. Initially spending 12 years in the Research Office, Lynn has been the Institute Manager for Durham Energy Institute since 2014. 

Lynn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Business Administration and provides leads on event management, office management, budget management, management of the Energy Centre for Doctoral Training and also manages the DEI relationship with the Durham Miners Association. Lynn is also secretariat for the DEI Executive Committee and DEI Advisory Board Committee.

In her spare time Lynn is the Company Secretary and a Director of the Durham Mining Museum, a Founding Member of the Women’s Banner Group and a volunteer for the Redhills Charity/Education4Action providing guided tours of Redhills and working with groups of school children where they learn about their coal mining heritage.
