Staff profile

Rachel graduated from Durham University in 1996 with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Linguistics. 

Since graduating, Rachel spent two and half years in living in Paris and was employed as the personnel assistant to the director of a French medical company. There she enjoyed learning French and indulging in French food. 

Rachel joined Durham University in April 2010 as administrator for the Centre for the History of Medicine and Disease.

Since then she has worked as Project Officer in the Department of Biosciences and, a Research Grants and Contract Manager in the Research and Innovation Services.

She currently works as a Project Manager for the Net Zero Research Team in the Department of Engineering.
