Staff profile

Theresa Philips joined the Centre for Catholic Studies in August 2011 and now works full-time as the Administrator for the Centre and PA to the Dean and Director.

Theresa has many years’ experience of administration at various academic institutions, including Cranmer Hall, an Anglican Training College based at St John’s College Durham, and as the Postgraduate Administrator at Cliff College, a Methodist lay training college in the Peak District.

Theresa is married to Pete (Director of the Research Centre for Digital Theology in the Department of Theology and Religion). They have three adult children, Emily, Sam, and Edd, and a gorgeous Westie called Grace. In any spare time Theresa likes to walk, especially along the coast, swim and read. Theresa attends Bowburn Methodist Church and St Nic’s Church Durham.
