Biography

I was born and raised in China, and I took my undergraduate degree at Carleton University in 2015. After I got my Bachelor of Arts, Honors degree in History at Carleton, I moved to Newcastle University in 2020 for a master’s degree in history. My master’s dissertation was focused on young people’s migrations within China and their motivations.

During my previous study process, I met friends from many different cultural backgrounds and was exposed to the interaction and collision of these cultures, which aroused my interest in studying the life of migrants in various countries.
