Staff profile

Yuzheng Zhang is a PhD student in the Department of Engineering, fully supported by the EPSRC DTP Studentship. Before that, he received his MSc in Statistics from The University of Warwick. His Bachelor of Science degrees in Financial Mathematics were awarded by The University of Sheffield and Nanjing Tech University. Yuzheng had a short industry experience working as a Smart Manufacturing Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. His research interests mainly include the applications of statistics and machine learning methods in manufacturing processes.

Research Project

Yuzheng’s research program involves quantifying uncertainty in the identification and prediction of dynamical systems, with an emphasis on applying these methodologies to downstream pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
