Biography
Zijie is a PhD student in the Department of Anthropology and a postgraduate research assistant of the Centre for Social Justice and Community Action. Prior to his PhD programme, Zijie studied International Finance and International Development in China and the UK respectively. His research focuses on Bangladeshi migration and migrant families’ sustainable livelihoods. Currently, Zijie is doing his ethnographic fieldwork in Bangladesh.
