Durham Archaeology Explorers

Durham Archaeology Explorers is an archaeology club for children aged 7—11 years, that aims to engage with children and inspire a lifelong interest in, and respect for, archaeology and the people of the past. 

To curate this exhibition, the Durham Archaeology Explorers used the skills they have developed through inspiring hands-on activities and field trips. Not only choosing the objects for display, but also writing the labels, planning the case layouts and designing activities for the exhibition.
