Munitionettes & Miners uncovered the important roles of County Durham men and women during World War I. 

Munitionettes & Miners explored the important roles played by the men and women of County Durham during the First World War. It focused on the women who worked in the munitions factories and the miners engaged in tunnel warfare on the Western Front.
