Durham Student Ambassadors having fun during Supporting Progression
Throughout Year 12, students would attend a blend of several in-person and virtual events aimed at equipping them with the knowledge and experience they need to decide if Durham would be a great place for them to study. Beyond this, though, we aim to equip them with the confidence and self-assurance in their own ability to succeed at higher education.
Students who are successful in completing the Year 12 SP programme will receive a guaranteed, conditional offer to study at Durham. This is typically a contextual offer of two grades lower than our usual asking grades. They will also go on to receive dedicated support throughout Year 13 to ensure they are able to succeed.
