Durham University Day Nursery is a diverse community open to all, including University staff and students, and members of the public. Our nursery staff are caring, highly experienced and fully qualified professionals who work in partnership with parents to provide a safe and stimulating environment for babies aged from six weeks old to school-age children.

For Parents and Carers

We believe that good communication between the Nursery and our parents/carers is extremely important.

Each Nursery area is thoughtfully planned to take into account the age and developmental stage of the children in that area.

Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision

We operate as an inclusive environment and we are recognised as having expertise in caring for children with special needs.

Nursery Food Provision

All food served in the Nursery is freshly cooked on the premises by our own very experienced cook.

All rates are inclusive of appropriate snacks, meal and drinks.
