There is a range of funded support and other forms of financial aid here at Durham.

The Disabled Students' Allowance

Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is funding from the UK Government to cover the extra cost of any study-related support you’ll need at university due to your disability. The support provided by DSA is different but complementary to the support we provide at Durham. The process of arranging DSA support is external to the University. This means you need to apply for DSA in addition to setting up support with us.

Scholarships

Durham offers scholarships, bursaries and awards, which are either funded by the University, through partnerships with external organisations or through generous donations from alumni and friends of the University.

The Student Support Fund is intended to help with the essential costs of being a student, including accommodation, clothing, disability costs and more.
