Dr. Fulvio investigated how the visual system incorporates prior knowledge and experience to form complete percepts from incomplete sensory information. She has developed a computational framework for predicting basic decision-making strategies and factors that influence the learning of those strategies. Currently, her research is focused on cognitive neuroscience, with the goal of understanding the neural correlates of visual working memory.
