Dr Chris Davis 

Chris is a Research Associate and part of the Durham UNESCO Chair team within the Department of Archaeology at Durham University. With a geographical focus of South Asia, his research interests include the social and economic roles of religious institutions in past societies, and the role of archaeological research for heritage management and protection in the present, particularly in relation to post-disaster scenarios and rapid unchecked developments.
