This UK Energy Research Centre publication, co-authored by DEI Fellow Professor Gavin Bridge, reviews the key energy policies which have emerged and argues that policies in some areas need to be bolder if decarbonisation is to continue to proceed.

Decarbonising heat is essential if targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions are to be met. Thanks to the work of Durham Energy Institute (DEI), we are at the forefront of research into how to achieve this.
