A group of female post-graduates sit together drinking coffee or tea, chatting and laughing. The space is brightly lit and colourful.

The DThM is a professional doctorate in theology likely to be of particular interest to chaplains and clergy. It offers the chance to do a research project at doctoral level, for example on moral injury.

We welcome enquiries from people wishing to do postgraduate research on moral injury, recognising that critical and novel research on moral injury often comes from widely varied perspectives, circumstances and life trajectories. You can do your research in Durham or at a distance, full-time or part-time. A DThM is one of the postgraduate pathways and the deadline for applications for this is 1 June.
