About CVAC

The Centre for Visual Arts and Culture at Durham University (CVAC) promotes interdisciplinary research on visual culture.

This is defined in a generous manner and encompasses work on the arts and humanities, social sciences, medicine and the natural sciences. It fosters collaborations both within the University and with other institutions, including museums and galleries and cinemas.
