Biography

Evelyn is an experienced researcher and communicator with an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology and a Masters in International Development from LSE. She previously has worked as
  • Communications and Impact Manager at Durham Energy Institute, Durham University. 
  • Research Associate at IPPR North (the dedicated think tank for the north of England),
  • Research Manager at Crisis (the UK homelessness charity) and as
  • Research Associate at Geoffrey Payne and Associates (an international development consultancy focused on informal settlements in Urban areas).
Her research spans a wide range of topics including community engagement and participatory methods, urban development, gender equality, deprivation, housing, homelessness and regeneration.

As the Institute for Medical Humanities (IMH) Senior Manager Evelyn is responsible for overseeing research administration and operations, as well as developing and co-ordinating the Institute’s external relationships.
