I moved to Durham in September 2020 where I am Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychology. I am Durham University’s NIHR North East and North Cumbria Applied Research Collaboration Fellow, and I am a member of the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing. I completed my PhD in 2017 at the University of Exeter, and subsequently I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Exeter Medical School and at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.

My broad areas of interest are in mental health, addiction, psychological medicine and health psychology. My current work within the ARC focuses on mental health and wellbeing, with a focus on the themes of multimorbidity, health inequalities, and the integration of mental and physical health care.
