Biography

I am an Associate Professor in High-Performance Computing within the Department of Engineeringat Durham University, specialising in Finite Element Methods (FEMs) that I applied to a varietyof linear and non-linear problems in solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, photonics, acoustics andradiative heat transfer. My research interests include discontinuous Galerkin methods, error estimators, adaptivity, multi-level methods, preconditioners and fracture.

I am also an expert in Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) to tackle a variety of problems such as AI-based machine monitoring systems, natural language processing and artificial language processing.

Research interests

  • Finite Element Methods (FEMs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
