Virtual Events for Teachers and Advisers 2022

Our series of events aims to support you in advising your students and strengthening the relationship between Durham and your school/college. You will receive key updates and information about university admissions and have an opportunity to ask Admissions and Recruitment staff your questions about Durham. 

Forthcoming Sessions:


Tuesday 8th March 2022 4.00 - 5.00pm

Support your Students Decision Making in Year 13:

This session will help you to answer any questions about the process and deadlines of replying to offers. We will also help to remind you about some of the ethics around offer making and fair admissions. We are aware that other institutions will use unfair tactics to persuade students to accept their offers. This session will provide a safe space to discuss how we can best support offer holders to make the best decision for them. 

Thursday 31st March 4.00 - 5.00pm 

Ask Admissions:

Our Director of Recruitment and Admissions, Admissions and Recruitment staff will be available to answer any questions that you have about admissions to Durham, the process of preferencing a college or anything else you wish to know about Durham University and the city!

Thursday 26th May 4.00 - 5.00pm

Ask Admissions:

Our Director of Recruitment and Admissions will provide an overview of this years admissions cycle. You will then have an opportunity to ask him and other Recruitment and Admissions staff any questions.
