We would like to invite all staff members to attend our LGBT+ Allyship and Awareness workshops. The course also aims to improve colleagues’ confidence in their knowledge of gender identity and diversity, LGBT+ terminology, the rights of LGBT+ people under UK law, and how to recognise and challenge behaviour acting as an advocate and ally across our community.

If you wish to book to a session, please register here.

eLearning available on Oracle Learning

We have a range of eLearning available to both staff and students at the university. HR-OD have partnered with Skill Boosters, a leading provider of high-quality video-based online training courses.

If you wish to touch up on your knowledge around LGBT+ inclusivity, you may find the eLearning courses below useful:

Allyship

This course explains how to be an effective ally, looks at the different under-represented or minority groups that allies can support and sets out the different behaviours we can demonstrate as an ally.
