Apprenticeship Opportunities

At Durham University we are keen supporters of Apprenticeships, working in partnership with our local training providers we give people in the local community fantastic opportunities to develop their career in a wide range of subjects.

As an apprentice, you will be employed by the University and learn by working alongside experienced colleagues. The course attended and the length of the programme will depend on the type of Apprenticeship you undertake. Through the Apprenticeship you can achieve relevant work-related qualifications from Level 2 diplomas through to foundation degree.

• Horticultural or Landscape Operative (Level 2)
• Facilities Operative/Management (Level 2, 3 & 4)
• Plumbing and Domestic Heating (Level 3)
