Pay

University pay scales are reviewed annually as part of national negotiations.

Reward Schemes

The University operates annual reward processes to recognise the exceptional performance of staff.

Exceptional Contribution Payments (ECPs) and Discretionary Awards (DAs)
Exceptional Contribution Payments (ECP) and Discretionary Awards (DA) are awarded as part of the annual pay process. All staff between Grades 1 - 9 are considered and these awards recognise the exceptional and outstanding performance of staff and teams.

Merit Reward Scheme (Grade 10)
Professorial staff and senior professional staff in Grade 10 have a merit reward scheme based on performance.
