Do you teach Year 12 students who are interested in pursuing a career in Law? On Wednesday 2 July, 10:30-15:00 BST, Durham Law School will be running a Pathways in to Law event in collaboration with the law firm Slaughter and May.

11:00 - 11:30 Durham: Guest Lecture and Discussion
11:30 – 11:50 Durham: Activity on Varying Careers in Law
11:50 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 13:00 How Slaughter and May supports students from diverse backgrounds
13:00 - 13:45 Slaughter and May: Deconstructing the Practice of Law with Q & A
13:45 - 14:45 Slaughter and May: Mock Negotiation Activity
14:45 – 15:00 Farewell
You can book a place for a group of your Y12 students using our booking form.
Please note that this event is for North East State School groups only. The maximum group size is 10 students. Students must be accompanied by teachers/school staff. Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for students who attended the Pathways in to Law event in December 2024.
To support with your travel costs, we are also offering reimbursement up to the value of £20 per student. Please email law.financeadministrator@durham.ac.uk for further information and to claim your reimbursement.
