The Solicitors Journal has published a new forward to its next issue by Thom Brooks, Professor of Law and Government and former Dean of Durham Law School (2016-2021).
Brooks calls for reform of the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) arguing for more data, funding support and refresh of content covered, especially to cover law and tech which is revolutionising the sector. The Solicitors Journal is one of the longest running legal periodicals in print since 1856.
