Keynote:
Prof Amy Chow from the University of Hong Kong will be the keynote speaker of the event. In her talk, Amy will draw on the experiences of the JCECC project and share the learnings in engaging practitioners in research collaborations, the use of practitioner-friendly methodology and the use of research with policymakers.
Parallel sessions:
There are four parallel sessions, led by members of the BASW UK Network for Social Work Practitioner Research, discussing priority issues related to social work practice in various fields:
- Race and ethnicity, led by Annie Ho and Rachel Murphy
- Neurodiversity, led by Deborah Solomon and Jessica Edwards
- Disability, led by Wendy Roberts
- Poverty and class, led by Ioana Plesa and Vyomesh Thanki
