Additional study spaces for Easter term
-940x510.jpg)
We have arranged additional rooms to be available to use as study spaces across the University campus during the Easter term.
We know the Easter term is a busy period for studying and exams. You can expect the Bill Bryson Library and other study spaces to be at their busiest.
To support you finding study spaces, we have arranged additional rooms to be available for you to use as study spaces across the University campus in the following buildings:
- Confluence Building (formerly known as the Maths Building) on Lower Mountjoy
- Elvet Riverside
- Geography Building
- Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science Building
- Palace Green Library
Locations and availability
Please check the availability dates below carefully. Most rooms are only available during the exam periods, and you may find them suitable spaces to use to sit an online exam. There will be some additional spaces available from the start of term on 24 April at the Confluence Building.

Things you need to know
- All the rooms should be considered quiet study spaces, with minimal conversation. Please leave them clean and tidy, ready for the next students.
- Most of the desks do not have power to them - if you intend to work on a laptop, please make sure it is fully charged before you visit. The University Wi-Fi network is available within the buildings.
- These spaces will be self-service areas – should you have any library-related queries whilst you are there, you can contact our Virtual Enquiry Desk, Ask DULib.
