Bill Bryson Library to open 24/7
From Monday 25 April until Friday 10 June* Bill Bryson Library will be open 24/7 as we enter the exam and assessment period.
Additional study spaces available on Lower Mountjoy site
We have arranged for designated study space to be available to all Durham students from Monday 25 April in a purpose-built modular building, situated next to the Higginson Building (Engineering) on Lower Mountjoy (Science) site.
Access to Churchill Archive through University Library and Collections
We’re delighted to announce that we have recently subscribed to the Churchill Archive, allowing access to over 800,000 pages of original documents, as well as expert resources designed to support courses in history and politics.
Pre-book your study spaces at Barker Research Library
From Tuesday 19 April, access to study spaces at the Barker Research Library within Palace Green Library will need to be pre-booked through our Space Bookings system. This is to support the high demand for these spaces, allowing you the opportunity to plan your visit and study time.
Cosin’s Library opens its doors after major conservation work
Historic Cosin’s Library will be re-opening its doors to visitors on Wednesday 13 April. After being closed for several years, essential conservation work is now complete and the library and its collections are now more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.
