Welcome to the Garden of Shadows at South Bailey

See South Bailey transformed into a magical journey that blends light, sound and shadow. The Garden of Shadows will be made up of eight installations from UK artist Jony Easterby, designed to evoke ecological reflection and contemplate the contrast between light and darkness.

Easterby's inspiration comes from his year-long artist's residency in a Jacobean farmhouse on the Welsh borders. Featuring animated landscapes sourced from grassland and forest, hedgerows and giant hogweed, bonsai trees given the gift of scale, woodland sprites and flying creatures, visitors can explore a trail of ethereal electronic encounters with the natural world.
