This webinar is the next in our series of seminars featuring hydrogen research around the UK.

Chaired by Professor Tony Roskilly, Chair of Future Energy Systems, Durham University, the webinar features presentations from:

Dr Xinyan Wang, Brunel University. Dr Wang is a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow on advanced fuel and propulsion technologies for future low carbon and zero carbon transport. Dr Wang graduated with a Master and a PhD degree in State Key Laboratory of Engines (SKLE), Tianjin University, China. His research interests on include the modelling and experimental studies of renewable and bio fuels, advanced combustion processes, and novel hybrid powertrains for high-efficiency and low/zero emission transport.

And:

Professor Alasdair Cairns, Chair in Propulsion Systems, Faculty of Engineering, Nottingham University. Professor Cairns will present research undertaken as part of the MariNH3 project, which seeks to overcome the key related technical, economic and social unknowns through flexible, multidisciplinary research set around disruptive NH3 engine concepts capable of high thermal efficiency and ultra low NOx.
