These monthly webinars seek to explore the challenges and strategies for the decarbonisation of heating and cooling. Our November webinar features two speakers from Oxford University who are researching sustainable cooling networks and moving towards a circular economy.

We are delighted to welcome speakers:

Dr Jesus Lizana - Jesus is a Marie Curie Fellow in the Energy and Power Group at the Engineering Science Department. His research interests are the cross-disciplinary challenges to support the transition towards low carbon climate-responsive buildings.

Dr Giovani Palafox-Alcantar – Giovani Palafox Alcantar is a Research Associate in sustainable Cooling Networks at Oxford University. His research focuses on Global Production Networks for cooling systems, particularly on analysing the end-of-life stage in order to situate these systems within a Circular Economy.

His presentation will cover “the global production networks of cooling and moving them towards a circular economy, also work-in-progress on the documentation of Cooling-as-a-Service case studies and development of a framework to measure its adoption in different contexts”
