COP26 research and activity

The 26th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will be held under the presidency of the UK government in Glasgow, from 1st to 12th November 2021. Durham University has a rich portfolio of active research projects and activities that relate to evidence of climate change, understanding the implications and impacts of the climate emergency and developing solutions and responses. Education and awareness raising on the climate emergency with our students, staff and the wider community is essential to ensuring we effectively respond to the global challenge.

Our research, training and partnerships enable climate change action locally, nationally and across the Globe.
