The Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence Reading Group is a partnership between CHESS, the Cluster of Excellence: Machine Learning in Science at Tubingen, and the Institute for the Future of Knowledge at the University of Johannesburg. The group focuses on contemporary articles in this growing field. All aspects of the philosophy of AI are covered (metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, …).

The purpose of the group is to explore and self-educate through reading and discussion. Prior knowledge of the field is not necessary.

The final meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday 14 December 2021.
