‘Community’ is a celebrated and contested idea and practice. Acknowledging that communities’ boundaries are often (re)created in specific geographical-socio-cultural-historical-political contexts, this event would explore how communities are created, sustained and reformulated to provide space for co-learning, co-producing knowledge and co-ordinating actions for change. The event features keynote speech(s) and parallel workshops that facilitate discussions and learning on the theme of the event. The range of topics will include but not limited to exploring how we use participatory or community engaged research approaches for empowerment, community action and knowledge production and exchange.
This will be an in-person event, booking is ESSENTIAL. Only 50 places are available.
