New for 2022 we have curated a calendar of sector specific recruitment activity for our Michaelmas & Epiphany terms. Adopting a hybrid approach, each targeted careers week will include a mix of in-person & virtual events, providing plenty of opportunity to connect with high calibre students looking for employment & work experience in your sector.

Bookings are open for our Epiphany 2023 Careers Weeks, including Public Sector; Sustainability; Think Big, Choose Small - SME; and Charities & Third Sector. If you would like to take part, click the corresponding image and complete the appropriate booking forms.
Please note each careers week will include a selection of the below event types.
Recruiter Showcase - Multiple employers showcasing their organisations in a smaller fair-style event.
STEM Fair - In person event aimed at science faulty students featuring a number of recruiters within the STEM industries. Chargeable event.
Employer Panel – 4/5 employers discussing recruitment within their organisation or an industry related topic.
Employer Presentations (virtual & in-person) – Single employer presentation covering opportunities, recruitment process & major attributes required in applicants.
Employer-led Skills Sessions – A chance to highlight the skills required in your application process & enhance core competencies of your future workforce.
Online Drop-in - An opportunity to chat with students on a 1:1 or small group basis via an online platform. This could either be run with students dropping in at any time over a couple of hours or as specified bookable timeslots.
Promotional Events – On campus events aimed at increasing your brand awareness amongst students. Events include café pop ups, giveaways and interactive games, temporary structures and vehicle displays. Please note there will be Promotional Event Fees incurred for these events.
Recruiter in Residence – Based in Durham’s Careers Centre, this is a chance for employers to meet with smaller groups of students in-person.
Digital Content – Industry information saved on student facing webpages which will support the recruitment events above. Content will include recent graduate insights, ‘day in the life’ interviews, top tips, event recordings & more in a mixed media format.
Diversity Event - An event hosted by your organisation which has a strong diversity focus.
