Day of Prayer for Ukraine

Durham Cathedral is holding a Day of Prayer for Ukraine. Every half-an-hour a prayer will be read to focus the thoughts of those present, and there will be plenty of candles available to light throughout the day. This is an event for the whole community.

At 6.30pm the prayers will spill out onto Palace Green, where the Cathedral’s Choral Scholars will sing a prayer for peace in Ukrainian and a minute’s silence will be held.
