Discover Durham Tours

The tours will begin at one of our undergraduate colleges at 1.00pm (BST/GMT+1). You'll receive an introductory talk from college staff and then a tour of that college to show you the facilities on offer. It may not always be possible to show you a student room as they're occupied during term time. After your tour of the college, one of our Durham Student Ambassadors will show you around the city, visiting as many main University buildings and city sights as possible.

The event as a whole is expected to last between two and a half to three (2.5 - 3) hours. It will involve quite a lot of walking. Durham is a hilly city, so please be aware of this when booking. If you have any mobility or accessibility requirements, please complete this section on the booking form and we'll work to make all adjustments that we can.

Please note that these tours are not guaranteed to involve indoor tours of department buildings and colleges other than the designated booked college and will not include meeting academic staff.
