Open Days

We're so excited to welcome you here in Durham for our Pre-application Open Days.

The next Open Days will take place on Friday 16th September and Saturday 17th September, we can't wait for you to experience everything that Durham has to offer!  You'll be able to visit Departments and Colleges and find out more about what it is like to be a student at Durham University. Come along and chat with staff and students, view a wide range of our facilities and ask any questions that you might have! We're looking forward to welcoming you!

Event Bursary

You may be entitled to an Event Bursary of up to £200 total to help with the cost of attending the Open Day (up to £150 travel, up to £50 accommodation). Please read through our Bursary Eligibility to find out more information and if you think you are entitled to the bursary, please complete the form so that we can process your application.

Parking

There's no car parking provision in the University car parks. Parking in Durham City Centre and Park and Ride car parks is available. Find out more about parking on the Durham County Council website. We strongly encourage all visitors to use public transport to travel to Durham where possible.
