As LGBT history month draws to a close for 2022, we need to stress its contribution in role modelling and building a sense of cohesion and community and its contribution over the years to social justice and civil rights for the LGBTQ+ community.

 

This is a timely reminder of those whose rights are not recognised yet also a celebration of how far social acceptance has evolved since its inception. Together with the endeavours of many equality communities, we should recognise the need to stick together, stand up for social justice and with the support of allies, we can change the world.
