LGBT+ History Month means a lot to me because it draws attention to the extraordinary lives we have led through the centuries.

LGBT+ History Month means a lot to me because it draws attention to the extraordinary lives we have led through the centuries. For me, as a historian, it provides a wonderful platform to share the stories I have uncovered. LGBT+ people faced down adversity in less tolerant times and, for some, positive stories are empowering to hear.
