Home students allocated to our Parsons Field Site will be asked to arrive on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September, you will be able to book a time slot for your arrival.

Home students allocated to our Bailey Site will be asked to arrive on Sunday 28^th September, you will be able to select a preferred timeslot.

Further detailed instructions will follow once the accommodation room allocation has taken place at the beginning of September.

Bailey Residents Only - Special Traffic Arrangements for Sunday 28^th September 2025

The University looks forward to welcoming you and your family members to Durham and to your cooperation in ensuring the arrival of all new students on Sunday 28^th of September.

To ensure a smoother freshers arrivals weekend process, the University has introduced special controls for traffic on the Peninsula and you will require an access permit for your college.
